Hi! Привет!
Welcome to my website! My name is Vladimir, at the time of writing this “About Me” I’m a video game developer (programmer, tester, all that stuff) with passion for creation, hatred for war, and an addiction to movies and cooking. I’m a huge fan of the Transformers franchise, if we talk about our gigs and all.
As I’m writing this I’m not even sure what to tell you about myself. Well, let’s start with this: I’m originally from Chelyabinsk, Russia, city where factories and depression mix with romance and p-e-r-f-e-c-t sunsets! I love my hometown, but I had to move to Canada to seek a better life for me and my family and pursue my career ambitions in software and video game development.
After living mostly by myself for quite some time, I learned to enjoy cooking and got some self-taught skills in it. Cooking, making cocktails, serving — these kinds of things spark imagination and the will to create in me. It’s an awesome feeling when you make food or a drink for someone and receive a subtle smile.
As for video games - the game that takes №1 spot in my heart is Spore. On the second place, I’d put Ratchet and Clank 3 (just check out its soundtrack, its great stuff). Next go Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009), Battlefield 3, Killzone, Medal of Honor: Frontlines, Jak 3 and..and… you know what.. There is a ton of games I adore.
Guess who was in Paris
It’s been awhile since I’ve thought of a website that may be both my portfolio and a personal blog. After trying this out with different stacks (even tried Flutter) I stumbled across Jekyll and oh-my! It suited the purpose perfectly.
On this website you will find a bunch of Projects I’ve worked on. Some of them very student-early and funky, some of them you can go ahead and buy on one of the major gaming platforms out there. First project that I worked on that got properly released, the cool-production grade stuff, is Nobody Saves The World. Kudos to Drinkbox Studios! At the bottom of every project you may find links to that project on different platform websites.
If you’re curious about my Resume and overall work-related history - this place is probably perfect for that. I’ll try my best to keep it up-to-date.
